Baker Dude Bakery Cafe
Atlanta, GA
Baker Dude Bakery Cafe was a Black-owned bakery cafe founded by Orran Booher, which grew from selling cupcakes online out of his kitchen to farmer's markets and then brick-and-mortar cafes in Atlanta. Its most recent home was at The Beacon in Grant Park (1039 Grant Street S.E., Suite B18, Atlanta, GA 30315), along the BeltLine. The cafe served bakery favorites, an artisan selection of sandwiches and sides, and healthier bowls, with menu options for many diets including Gluten Free, Vegan, and Paleo, and also hosted book signings, meetings, and small events. The business is now permanently closed.
