Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Inclusivity.org (“Inclusivity.org,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, browse the directory, use the employer tracker, or submit a business, claim, or message (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
Information you provide. When you submit or claim a business, request supplier or buyer access, send a contact message, or write a review, we collect the details you enter — such as your name, email, phone, business name, website, location, ownership and identity tags, certifications, photos, hours, and any message or source links you include.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our providers automatically collect certain technical data when you visit, including IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with the Site. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
Information from third parties. Some directory content comes from public or company-submitted sources (for example, public business listings, chamber directories, certification bodies, and published employer benchmarks). This information is stored with its source and verification status.
How we use information
- To review, publish, and maintain directory listings and employer records.
- To respond to submissions, claims, contact messages, and support requests.
- To verify ownership, identity tags, and certifications against their sources.
- To operate paid plans, fulfill welcome kits, and process related requests.
- To measure and improve the Site, and to keep it secure and free of abuse.
- To display relevant content and advertising (see Advertising below).
Sourced identity and ownership data
Inclusivity.org is built on a source-first trust model. We never infer sensitive identity or ownership categories from names, photos, or neighborhoods. Ownership and identity tags are self-identified by the business or sourced from public or certified records, and each is stored with a source and a verification status (self-identified, publicly listed, certified, or Inclusivity.org verified). A business can request that a tag be corrected or removed at any time through our corrections and removals process. Employer benchmark scores and certifications belong to their respective organizations and are attributed accordingly.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; some features may not function properly if you disable them.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We use third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to help support the Site.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
For more information about how Google uses data when you use our Site, see Google's Privacy & Terms.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Site: with service providers that host, analyze, secure, email, or support the Site; with a business you specifically ask us to contact on your behalf; with advertising and analytics partners as described above; and when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Site and its users.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Site, maintain accurate directory records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Published listing information may remain visible until a business requests a correction or removal.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information about you or your business, and you can opt out of personalized advertising as described above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, email us at hello@fergusonhq.com or use our corrections and removals page.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a general, business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their content or handling of your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
