Since 2009, A la Mode has been baking handmade sweet and savory pies in Seattle — whole pies, by-the-slice, petite pies, savory handpies & tarts. and a rotating daily menu, all served in our cafés alongside coffee, espresso and ice cream. Take a pie to go, or settle in and enjoy a slice inside our cozy cafés. A la Mode also offers pie-making classes and caters weddings & special events.
Currently A la Mode Pies has two locations: one in the heart of the West Seattle Junction and another next to the Ballard library one block off Market Street. In December 2026, A la Mode Pies will reopen its flagship Phinney Ridge cafe, located across from the Woodland Park Zoo.
