Beyond same day glasses the shop fits prescription sunglasses, including clip-ons and fit-over options, supplies contact lenses, and carries Transitions lenses for anyone who would rather not own two pairs. Eye exams are available on site. Frame repairs and adjustments are handled in house, and some of the small ones are done at no charge. Prescription safety glasses are made up too, which matters for anyone whose employer requires them. The frame wall is curated rather than exhaustive, covering men's, women's and unisex styles for adults and kids, and the staff walk people through it instead of leaving them to it. Brands carried include ILLA Eyewear, Longchamp, Kate Spade and Vera Bradley. A frame can be held for twenty four hours while a customer decides. Insurance accepted includes MassHealth, Davis Vision and Superior Vision, and CareCredit is taken for anyone paying over time. Benefits can be used for glasses alone, even when the exam happened elsewhere, and the shop will help confirm coverage before an appointment. The shop opened in 2024 and is registered with the City of Boston, which certifies it as both a Minority Business Enterprise and a Small and Local Business Enterprise. Appointments can be booked through the website, and walk-ins are welcome during opening hours.
