A & M Marketplace

Nashville, TN

A&M Marketplace is a Black-owned international grocery store tucked inside the Nashville Farmers' Market in North Nashville. Founded by Ethiopian-Sudanese entrepreneur Martha Lupai, we believe food brings communities together, so our shelves carry flavors from around the world alongside the best of local Tennessee. Come in for fresh produce, meats, and pantry staples, plus specialty items you won't easily find elsewhere: Ethiopian coffee, cassava root for fufu, baby bananas, international beers, hot sauces, fair-trade gifts, body and beauty care, vegan cupcakes, and fresh smoothies made with local produce. We work hand in hand with local and African American Tennessee farmers, reselling produce they can otherwise only sell on weekends so more of your dollar goes straight back into their pockets. Every purchase carries a purpose: proceeds support youth education here in Nashville and in East Africa. Whether you're hunting for a taste of home, a global ingredient for tonight's dinner, or a thoughtful gift, our little market offers a warm, worldly shopping experience rooted in community. Stop by and taste the world at 900 Rosa L. Parks Boulevard.
