Cheryse Terry birthed Archive CLT from a lifelong passion of collecting vintage magazines depicting Black lives, experiences, challenges and accomplishments. Terry’s vision was for Archive to be a vintage book and ephemera store in a historically Black location. That vision has expanded to create a community hub and coffee shop where everyone can feel welcome and safe.
Located in West Charlotte, down on Beatties Ford, you’ll find Archive CLT. We serve as a cultural hub and café (in that order). Our mission is to preserve and showcase the rich history and lived experience of Black culture.
Local mixologists created the menu options, our beans are roasted locally, and the feeling is home. Over the past three years, we have been a cornerstone for engagement, creativity, storytelling, and our signature latte flavors!
