Artisans Books & Coffee is an independent bookstore and cafe in downtown Everett, Washington, located at 1802 Hewitt Avenue inside the historic Hodges Building. Run by mother-daughter owners Judy and Emma Kate Ramsey, it shares its space with sister shop Artisans PNW and forms part of the locally-minded Artisans of Everett community. The shop pairs an eclectic, well-curated book selection, including a used-book section and titles by Northwest authors, with a full coffee and espresso bar, tea, and a creative kegerator pouring beer, cider, kombucha, and wine. A small but thoughtful food menu features homemade items such as vegetarian split pea soup and grilled cheese. The interior is full of color, with exposed ceilings, large windows, wood floors, booth seating, mismatched chairs, and artist-painted tables, plus games, a gift shop, and an art vending machine. Family-friendly and community-focused, Artisans regularly hosts events including author talks, live singer-songwriter showcases, open mic nights, and paint-and-sip classes, making it a welcoming downtown gathering spot for readers, coffee lovers, and neighbors alike.
