Casa Santo Stefano
Tampa, FL
Welcome to Casa Santo Stefano, where the flavors of Sicily come home to Ybor City. We set our tables inside a restored 1925 macaroni factory, a building that once fed the very neighborhood the Sicilian immigrants helped build. That history lives in every plate we serve. Our kitchen honors the food owner Richard Gonzmart shared every Sunday with his best friend, the simple, generous cooking of the old country. We pour imported Sicilian wines, shave cheeses brought over from the island, and finish our dining room with hand-painted touches carried from Sicily itself. Come for lunch and linger over house-made pastas like our casarecce Bolognese, or settle in for dinner and a cocktail at Santo's Drinkeria. This is a place built on family, on the wave of immigrants who gave Tampa its heart, and on the belief that a meal should feel like being welcomed into someone's home. Pull up a chair, raise a glass, and taste the Sicily that helped shape Ybor City. Buon appetito, and grazie for joining us.
