Dancin' Jazzi Dance Studio

Dancin' Jazzi was established in 2006 and is Austin's first Black-owned and operated dance studio. Founder and artistic director Melanie Smith leads a program that takes students of every age and skill level.
Classes run across tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop and contemporary, in a studio built to be joyful, creative and comforting rather than competitive for its own sake.
Out tha Box Productions, the studio's nonprofit, sponsors performance opportunities so students have somewhere to take what they learn.
