Enterprising Latinas, Inc.

Enterprising Latinas, Inc. is a Wimauma-based nonprofit on a mission to create pathways of economic opportunity for Latina women and their families across Tampa Bay. Rooted in the South Hillsborough community, we believe in communities where everyone thrives, and we build that future one woman, one business, and one household at a time. From our home at the Wimauma Opportunity Center, we deliver hands-on programs in business development, career and employment, and access to capital. Aspiring entrepreneurs receive coaching, training workshops, and microloans through our Rising Women's Fund, while job seekers gain digital literacy skills and workforce support that lead to real career opportunities. Each year we serve thousands of community members, engage local entrepreneurs, connect families to resources, and help hundreds of women step into new jobs. Our work is grounded in the strength, resilience, and ambition of the Latinas we serve. We meet women where they are, in their language and in their neighborhood, and walk alongside them as they launch businesses, grow their incomes, and build generational wealth. When Latinas rise, entire communities rise with them, and that belief drives everything we do at Enterprising Latinas.
