At Fair Trade Cafe, good coffee and good conscience share the same cup. Tucked into downtown Phoenix on North 1st Avenue, we pour shade-grown, organic, fair-trade coffee sourced with respect for the farmers who grow it and the land it comes from. Every espresso, pour-over, and drip we serve reflects a simple belief: the people behind your morning cup deserve a fair deal. Beyond the coffee, our kitchen turns out in-house baked goods and artisan-crafted sandwiches, so there is always something fresh to pair with your drink. But we are more than a place to grab a cup to go. Our walls host a rotating gallery of local art, and our tables fill with students, remote workers, neighbors, and friends who come to study, meet, and connect. We have always seen ourselves as a gathering place, a corner of downtown where community happens naturally over honest coffee. Whether you are settling in for a long work session, catching up with a friend, or simply looking for a cup that does right by the world, you will find a warm welcome here. Stop in, slow down, and taste coffee that means something.
