The Cupcake Guys are Brian Orakpo and Michael Griffin, who went from the NFL to running a bakery together in the Austin area. Orakpo was a first-round pick and a Pro Bowl rookie in Washington; Griffin's football career started at Bowie High School and carried him through Texas and into the league.
The bakery turns out cupcakes and celebration cakes for birthdays, weddings, offices and anyone who happens to be walking past.
Unconventional pastry chefs, and that is rather the point.
