Je T'aime Pâtisserie

Brooklyn, NY

Public sourceBlack-owned · Public sourceWomen-owned · Public source

Je T'aime Pâtisserie is a French bakery on Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Brooklyn, opened by Queens native Jatee Kearsley.

Croissants, macarons, quiche, specialty pastries, sandwiches and soups are made fresh daily, with house-made jams and fresh fruit and without artificial dyes.

Kearsley opened deliberately in a historically Black neighborhood and accepts government assistance as a payment method so the counter serves everyone on the block. The bakery also runs croissant-making classes on site and takes custom cake and corporate catering orders.
