La Sicilia Italian Bakery & Cafe brings the flavors of Sicily to Houston's Montrose neighborhood at 515 Westheimer Road. Run by a Sicilian chef, the bakery serves both timeless classics and bold culinary experiments, with pastries and dishes prepared fresh daily. The display cases are filled with handcrafted Sicilian sweets, including cannoli, cassata siciliana, and an assortment of traditional cookies and pastries. Beyond the bakery counter, the cafe offers a menu of Italian breakfast and lunch fare such as uova in purgatorio, sandwiches, and espresso-based coffee drinks. The atmosphere pairs an authentic Old World sensibility with a relaxed neighborhood cafe setting, making it a stop for both a quick espresso and pastry or a sit-down meal. La Sicilia is open Wednesday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Whether you are craving a proper cannoli, a slice of colorful cassata, or a savory Sicilian-inspired plate, La Sicilia offers a genuine taste of the island in the heart of Houston.
