Levity Events

Levity Events is a Kansas City metro production company working across weddings, galas and corporate conferences, specializing in sound, lighting and creative production.

For weddings specifically the company handles event draping, custom dance floors, specialty lighting and effects, and event rentals. This is the production layer rather than the planning layer, and it is the part couples most often underestimate. Lighting is the single biggest lever on how a reception room reads in person and in photographs, and draping is what turns a plain hall into a venue.

Couples working with a separate planner will usually still need a production partner, and Levity is set up to be that partner. Those running the day themselves can use them to cover the technical parts that are hardest to improvise.
