Libreri Mapou is a Haitian bookstore and cultural center in the heart of Little Haiti, Miami, founded by playwright and activist Jan Mapou in 1990. It carries books on Haiti and the Caribbean in Kreyol, French, and English, along with Haitian arts, crafts, toys, and the house-made drink Kremas Mapou. As home to Sosyete Koukouy (Fireflies Society), the store hosts Creole classes, Haitian folkloric dance, choir, and book signings, serving as a longtime gathering place that has preserved Haitian culture for decades.
