Peace & Riot

Brooklyn, NY

Public sourceBlack-owned · Public source

Peace & Riot is a home design and gift shop on Tompkins Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, on the stretch locals call Black Girl Magic Street for its concentration of stores owned by Black women.

The buy is eclectic and international, taking in Moroccan poufs, aromatherapy candles, apothecary goods, apparel, books, stationery, kitchen and children's items, and Brooklyn street art.

Prices run across the range on purpose, so the shop works for a browse as well as a serious purchase. Much of the stock is in-store only.
