Rebel Hair is an artsy hair salon on Madison's west side, and the name is a fair warning. The chairs are open, the styles are bold, and everyone is welcome.
Vivid color and custom extensions are the specialties, alongside cuts and styling, blonding, natural color, treatments and brow enhancements. Extension work begins with a consultation rather than a booking, so the method and the quote are settled first. It is an inclusive LGBTQ+ space, and the welcome is the whole point. Cassie Redmond owns the salon and has worked in hair since 2005, first as a stylist and then as a color educator.
