The Cupcake Collection

We are The Cupcake Collection, the little bakery in a house that grew into a Nashville institution. What started in Historic Germantown as founder Mignon Francois' family kitchen became a beloved neighborhood destination, one cupcake at a time. As a Black woman-owned bakery, our story is one of faith, family, and the belief that something sweet can change everything. Everything we make is baked from scratch, in small batches, the way it was always meant to be. Our most famous creation is the Sweet Potato Cupcake, a warm, spiced Southern classic that has become our signature and the reason folks drive across the city (and the country) to find us. Alongside it you will find rich red velvet, decadent chocolate, and rotating flavors, plus gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan options so more guests can share in the joy. From our Germantown home to our shops in Hendersonville and Lenox Village, we pour love into every batch and treat every guest like family.
