The Edge Harlem
New York, NY
The Edge Harlem sits on Edgecombe Avenue and is run by sisters Juliet and Justine Masters, New York natives who have lived in Harlem for close to twenty years.
The menu is split across British, Jamaican and American cooking, which is a straightforward reflection of how the owners grew up rather than a fusion concept. Brunch is the meal the room is built around.
The interior runs to exposed brick, palm plants and marquee lights, pulling the same three places together visually, and the playlist moves between alternative pop and Afrobeat. Live music is scheduled midweek.
