Utah Alternative Therapy

Utah Alternative Therapy is a trauma and psychedelic integration clinic serving Salt Lake City and Layton, and an LGBTQIA+ owned and operated private practice rooted in queer, ENM and kink-affirming care. Too many people in alternative communities feel judged, pathologized or unseen in traditional therapy spaces. The premise here is the opposite: your identity, your relationships and your choices are not merely tolerated but respected and affirmed, because the clinicians are part of these communities too.

Individual, couples, family and group therapy, retreats, intensives, and psychedelic-assisted therapy integration across MDMA, psilocybin and ketamine are all offered, with ketamine integration in partnership with licensed medical prescribers. Krista Buda, LCSW, founded the practice, and the team is licensed in Utah, Idaho and Florida.
