Whitestar Wellness is a mental health practice in Elm Grove offering integrative, humanistic, holistic care of the whole person. It started from something Ariel Kloss noticed across ten years as a social worker: that a lot of traditional mental health care was missing the focus on connection and authenticity, reaching for labels instead. Diagnoses and modalities serve their purposes and can inform the work, but the person in the room is treated from a humanistic lens above all else, so that they can live in the most authentic form of themselves.
Sessions run in person at the Elm Grove office and by telehealth, with a free twenty minute phone consultation first. The work covers anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, panic disorder, PTSD, substance use disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, grief and life transitions. Ariel Kloss, MSW, LCSW, is the owner, and the team brings eight more clinicians and a graduate intern.
