First vegan butcher shop in the United States, founded by a sister-brother team! We make plant-based meats and cheeses and ship around the country. Herbivorous Acres is our non-profit farm sanctuary, and we have a vegan fried chicken shop, Herbie Butcher's Fried Chicken, along with a cookbook coming out August 2022. Sister Butcher® Aubry and Brother Butcher® Kale Walch founded Herbivorous Butcher in 2014. In 2016, their first store opened, melding a lifelong love for food with healthy, low-impact, ethical eating—by way of deliciously deceptive vegan meats and cheeses.
