OUTSOUTH is an annual LGBTQ film festival produced by the Carolina Theatre in downtown Durham, usually in mid-August. It began in 1995 as the Q Film Fest, later became the North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, and took its current name in 2020.
