About Viva La Vida Festival & Parade
Mexic-Arte Museum's Viva La Vida Festival and Parade is billed as Austin's largest and longest-running Dia de los Muertos event, now in its 43rd year. A grand procession down 6th Street opens the day at noon, followed by a street festival at 4th Street and Congress Avenue until 6 p.m. The 2026 parade theme is la ofrenda.
