GALA Pride and Diversity Center

The GALA Pride and Diversity Center supports and empowers people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions across San Luis Obispo County and the Central Coast. Based on Palm Street in downtown San Luis Obispo, GALA runs peer support such as Trans* Tuesday, social events like Rainbow Dungeons & Dragons, and Central Coast Pride, the events program behind Pridefest and Pride in the Plaza. Newcomers are welcome at Trans* Tuesday, and anyone can call (805) 541-4252 or visit 1060 Palm Street to get connected. Community members can also volunteer to help with newsletters, design or group facilitation.

Rainbow Dungeons & Dragons
A beginner-friendly tabletop roleplaying meetup on the first and third Saturday of each month.
Pandora's Trivia Pizza Party
A social night for LGBTQIA+ people and allies on the first and third Wednesday of each month.
Central Coast Pride
The center's events program, including Pridefest, Pride in the Plaza, Trans Pride in the Park, fundraisers and workshops.
#Out4MentalHealth Task Force
A countywide mental health effort that GALA co-leads in San Luis Obispo County.
