Dress for Success Miami

Dress for Success Miami helps women achieve economic independence through professional attire, career development, training and a network of support. Operating as Suited for Success, the Miami affiliate of Dress for Success Worldwide has long served the Miami-Dade community from its office at The Culmer Center near Overtown.

Women with an upcoming interview or career fair can book a suiting appointment and leave with an interview outfit chosen with a volunteer, plus encouragement for the conversation ahead. Once hired, they can return for workwear to start the new job. The Career Center offers one-on-one help with resumes, online job searches, printing and email setup, in person or virtually, and training workshops cover interview skills, professional image and job search tools. Employment Retention programs help women keep their jobs and grow toward lasting careers.

Suited for Success also serves men with business attire, helps veterans and their spouses move into civilian careers through Vets for Success, and prepares teens for their first jobs through a Youth Program. Clients reach services by appointment, and more than 135 local agencies refer clients for suiting and training.

Volunteers start with a virtual orientation, then help clients in person or remotely. Donors can drop off clean, ready-to-wear professional clothing on hangers during donation hours, host a donation drive, shop the Amazon wishlist or give online.
