SunServe provides affirming, trauma-informed mental health care and social services across Broward County. Licensed clinicians offer individual counseling on a sliding scale, with virtual therapy available anywhere in Florida and WPATH letters for clients who meet the criteria. No one is turned away for inability to pay.
The Youth & Family Center serves young people ages 8 to 22 and their parents with free counseling, life coaching and support groups, including Different Drummer for parents of gender-diverse kids. Sunshine Pridehouse offers emergency and longer-term housing for young adults 18 to 24. Specialized Support Services helps transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse adults with case management, medical and legal navigation, document updates and job-search coaching. SilverServe brings adults 60 and older together at monthly luncheons and Breakfast Club mornings in Wilton Manors, alongside senior case management.
SunServe also runs Housing Case Management with rent, mortgage and utility assistance, a weekly lineup of support groups such as FREE2BE for gay, bisexual and queer men, and clinical training for counseling and social work students. Living Room, a drop-in space for adults seeking support with substance use, chemsex, recovery and wellness, is based in Wilton Manors.
