Human Rights Campaign Foundation

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is the educational arm of the Human Rights Campaign, working to make equality, equity and liberation a reality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people across the United States. From its Washington, DC headquarters, it turns research into tools that schools, employers, hospitals and families can use.

Welcoming Schools gives educators and youth-serving professionals professional development, lesson plans, booklists and ready-to-use resources for preventing bias-based bullying, with trainings offered virtually and in person. The Corporate Equality Index benchmarks how U.S. employers treat LGBTQ+ workers, and the Healthcare Equality Index evaluates the policies and practices of hospitals and clinics toward LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees. Research and polling reports and guides, including a Healthy Sex Guide in English and Spanish, put data and practical information in the community's hands.

Community programs include Parents for Transgender Equality, a national community where parents of trans youth find each other and share resources, WorthIt, an LGBTQ+ financial wellness platform, Next Level, which helps people build skills across career pathways, financial health and wellness, and My Body My Health, which works to break down barriers to sexual health for Black and Latine LGBTQ+ communities.

Supporters can volunteer for shifts or join a state steering committee, attend events such as the National Dinner, become a member, or donate.
