PFLAG Ocala is the local chapter of PFLAG National for Ocala and Marion County, offering support, education and advocacy for LGBTQ+ people and the families, friends and allies who love them. Free, confidential support meetings take place monthly, sometimes with a guest speaker or book discussion and time to connect informally; the location is shared privately on request by email. The chapter maintains a guide to local health, mental health, faith and family resources, advocates for safe spaces and for LGBTQIA+ youth in schools, and welcomes volunteers and donations.
