Come Out With Pride Orlando

Come Out With Pride, Inc. is the nonprofit behind Orlando's LGBTQIA+ community celebrations. Its mission is to cultivate visibility, authenticity and acceptance by curating inclusive experiences that celebrate and embody the spirit of queer resilience. Each October, timed around National Coming Out Day, it creates a day when people can shine as their true selves, and for many attendees Pride is the one day of the year they can fully live authentically.

The festival fills Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando. Attendance has topped 230,000 people in a single year, making Come Out With Pride one of the largest Pride celebrations in the Southeast and the biggest single-day event in Central Florida. The Most Colorful Parade brings more than 250 organizations and businesses down the route, while the Marketplace and SponsorWalk showcase local vendors and community groups. Stages feature rising local talent alongside national stars, and the day ends with an epic fireworks finale that leaves guests feeling seen and celebrated.

Accessibility is a core value. Most Come Out With Pride events are free and open to the public, and donations fund ASL interpreters, accessible facilities and sensory-friendly spaces so everyone can take part. Families are welcome, with activities for kids, and allies are encouraged to join the celebration. Special ticketed options, such as the VIP Experience, offer reserved viewing areas, food and drinks.

Pride is a year-round movement. Pride Prom, held each spring, has brought events like the Time Traveler's Ball to the Orlando Science Center. The Trans & Non-Binary Task Force, created in 2023 under a "for us, by us" leadership model, hosts a Trans Day of Visibility celebration, an annual family dance party, Trans Pride and a Trans Rally & March on Pride day, Trans Day of Remembrance and a holiday cookie exchange. The Colors of Courage Collective, established in 2025, designs culturally affirming programs for QTBIPOC communities, including Love & Liberation, a Juneteenth Pride celebration, with a focus on inclusion across immigration status and language.

The celebration also supports the wider community. Most of Pride's proceeds go back to local LGBTQIA+ nonprofits, community centers and advocacy groups, and donations at festival entrances support the Pride Gives Back grants and scholarship program. Hundreds of local organizations take part each year as marchers, vendors and partners, making Pride day a showcase for the groups that serve LGBTQIA+ Central Florida the rest of the year.

There are many ways to join in. Volunteers 16 and older can sign up for four-hour shifts in customer service, the parade and volunteer support, with a free T-shirt, meals and an invitation to the annual volunteer appreciation party. Businesses can become Pride or Pride Prom partners, groups can apply to march or vend, and individual donations help keep Pride free for all.
