Tri County Arc
Chiefland, FL · Serving Levy, Dixie and Gilchrist counties (Tri County area), plus clients from Alachua County
Tri County Arc, formerly the Arc of Levy County, offers living skills training and adult education for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from Levy, Dixie, Gilchrist and Alachua counties. The Arc has been developing a permanent center in Chiefland with classrooms, a kitchen and a laundry room for independent living practice, and St. Alban's Episcopal Church has hosted the program along the way. Without state funding, it relies on community events such as the Empowerment 5K, a summer ice cream social, Adopt a Client at Christmas and the Wild Hog Canoe Race.

Families and caregivers can reach the Arc through its Tri County Arc Facebook page; the program serves adults who have aged out of public high school in and around Chiefland.
Get involved
Support the building fund, run in the Empowerment 5K, buy supplies from the Arc's wish list, or join the ice cream social and Adopt a Client at Christmas.
