Dress for Success Boise Valley

Dress for Success Boise Valley helps women in the Treasure Valley prepare for job interviews, start new jobs with confidence and build toward financial independence. Through its Suiting program, a woman who has scheduled an interview is referred to the boutique, where volunteer personal stylists help her choose an interview outfit and offer guidance and support for the interview ahead. She can return once she finds work for the clothing and accessories she needs to start.

The Employment Retention programs focus on keeping a job and growing professionally, with strategies to nurture career development and a steadier footing at work. The organization, an independent network member of Dress for Success Worldwide, has served the community since 1999.

Women are referred through a wide network of partner agencies, including Idaho Department of Labor offices, Vocational Rehabilitation, Job Corps, the Agency for New Americans, St. Vincent de Paul, The Jesse Tree of Idaho, the Salvation Army and more. Stylist appointments are by appointment only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m., and clients or referring agencies can call or text (208) 283-6991 to schedule. The organization is currently serving women from a temporary location while it prepares its new permanent space.

Volunteers can apply to become personal stylists or join the annual gala team by securing sponsorships and silent auction donations. The annual gala, which in 2026 is the Ignite HER Power Gala at the Boise Centre on September 12, supports the women served in the community. Donations can be made online, and organizations that provide job training or employment services can ask to join the referral network.
