Dress for Success Shreveport-Bossier empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing professional attire, job readiness coaching, and a network of support. Founded in 2021, the non-profit organization serves women across Caddo and Bossier parishes who are seeking employment or transitioning into new career fields. The agency operates from its facility on North Hearne Avenue, offering personalized suiting appointments in a boutique setting.

During suiting sessions, volunteer stylists assist each client in selecting interview-appropriate business clothing, shoes, and accessories, building confidence and poise. Once employed, clients return for additional wardrobe pieces to complete a versatile work week wardrobe. The organization also offers job training and Career Center services that eliminate barriers during the employment search, including resume writing, mock interview coaching, and technology skills training.

Services are provided at no cost through partnerships with local social service agencies, shelters, and job placement programs. Referring agency coordinators submit appointment requests directly to the organization.

Community members can support the mission by donating gently used professional attire, handbags, and accessories during designated donation hours at the North Hearne Avenue office. Supporters can also get involved by volunteering as personal shoppers, resume mentors, or making tax-deductible financial donations to sustain career development services for local women.
