Dress for Success Greater Baltimore
Baltimore, MD · Serving Greater Baltimore
Dress for Success Greater Baltimore empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a comprehensive network of support, professional attire, and career development tools. Established in 1998 in downtown Baltimore, the organization works to break cycles of poverty by equipping women with the resources and confidence needed to secure and sustain meaningful employment.
The organization signature suiting program provides each client with individualized wardrobe consultations, outfitting women in professional interview clothing, footwear, and accessories at no cost. Once employed, clients return to receive additional work-appropriate clothing to build a versatile professional wardrobe for their new workplace environments.
Beyond clothing, Dress for Success Greater Baltimore provides comprehensive workforce readiness workshops, computer literacy classes, resume writing assistance, and mock interview preparation. The Professional Women Group offers ongoing career coaching, financial literacy seminars, and peer networking circles that help newly employed women navigate workplace culture and advance into leadership roles.
Women seeking career services and professional suiting are referred by regional partner agencies, job training centers, and community shelters, or can submit inquiries directly through the website. Community members can get involved by donating gently used professional attire, serving as volunteer career stylists and mentors, or making financial contributions to support workforce programs across Greater Baltimore.
