About Conway Pridefest
Conway held Arkansas's first Pride parade in 2004, organized by local advocates Robert Loyd and John Schenck. Conway Pride Community now hosts an annual free festival at Laurel Park in November, with drag performances, food trucks and vendors. The 2025 festival did not include a parade because of security concerns.
What to expect
Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
