About SelassieFest

SelassieFest is a two-day Chicago festival of Rastafari culture presented by Ras Tafari Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It honors Emperor Haile Selassie I and Pan-African heritage with reggae and sound systems, Nyabinghi drumming, heritage exhibits, Ital food and youth programs. The 2027 edition adds a community basketball tournament and a North vs. South football match.
