Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas

Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas helps women secure employment, keep their jobs and grow their careers. Since 2013, the Rogers affiliate has paired professional attire with career coaching so women across Northwest Arkansas can walk into an interview, and then a new job, ready to succeed.

Through Suitings, clients meet with volunteers by appointment to choose interview and work clothing, down to shoes, purses, accessories and undergarments. The Career Center covers the rest of the job search: a career assessment, resume and cover letter help, interview prep, mock interviews and getting ready for the first day. A bilingual career coach and navigator works directly with clients, and mobile outreach brings services into the community. Women who rebuilt their careers with the program serve as Success Ambassadors, sharing their stories to encourage the next woman who walks in.

The affiliate also offers professional development for women and their allies. EmpowHER:Con is its annual women's business conference and expo, and focused one-day summits go deeper: CalmHER on mental health and workplace wellness, UnderstandHER on neurodiversity at work. Signature fundraisers include the Success Stories Brunch, the Drive for Success Golf Tournament and the Little Black Dress Gala.

Women can request services online or by calling the office inside the Center for Nonprofits at Frisco Station in Rogers. Supporters can volunteer with programs, events and clothing drives, bring professional clothing to monthly Donation Days, shop the affiliate's Depop store, sponsor an event or give a monthly sustaining gift.
