Come Out With Pride Orlando

Come Out With Pride is Orlando's main Pride celebration, held each October at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando. The one-day event combines a festival running from noon into the evening with an afternoon parade. The organization also hosts events during the year, including gatherings for trans and nonbinary families.

Come Out With Pride, Inc. is the nonprofit behind Orlando's main LGBTQIA+ celebration, which it times to fall around National Coming Out Day each October. Organizers note that for many attendees it is the one day of the year they can be fully open about who they are. The event drew more than 230,000 people in 2025, and the group describes it as one of the largest Pride events in the Southeast and the biggest single-day event in Central Florida.

The Most Colorful Parade steps off in the late afternoon and features more than 250 organizations and businesses, with local motorcycle riders invited to lead it off at no cost. Spectators are advised to claim a spot early along Central Boulevard or Summerlin Avenue. The Marketplace fills a full block of Robinson Street with more than 150 groups and businesses, and a SponsorWalk area sits alongside it. Entertainment runs on the Diva Stage and the Dance Stage, ASL interpreters work the Amphitheater Stage, and the night closes with fireworks.

The festival happens rain or shine, security is posted throughout the park, and parking is scattered around downtown, so organizers recommend carpooling or ride-share. Donations collected at the entrances fund the Pride Gives Back grants and a scholarship program. The group's stated mission is to build visibility, authenticity and acceptance through inclusive experiences, and it runs programming through the year across Central Florida.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
