The Arc Warren County Chapter
Washington, NJ · Serving Warren County
The Arc Warren County Chapter provides comprehensive lifelong services, advocacy, and community programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Founded in 1954 by parents dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for their children, the organization supports hundreds of individuals across Warren County from infancy through their senior years.
The agency operates community living arrangements and supportive apartments where trained staff provide personalized care, independent living skill instruction, and healthcare coordination around the clock. Its early intervention program delivers developmental therapies and support for infants and toddlers in natural home environments. In addition, the organization runs adult day habilitation centers, supported employment coaching, and community-based individual supports that help participants build career skills, master daily competencies, and engage actively in neighborhood life throughout Northwest New Jersey.
A signature program is Camp Warren, which offers summer day and overnight camping experiences alongside year-round weekend respite and recreational activities in Knowlton Township. Direct support professionals and therapists work closely with families to foster independence, self-confidence, and social belonging. Families can access services by contacting the administrative headquarters in Washington. Community members can get involved by volunteering at Camp Warren, attending the annual radiothon and Community Excellence Awards, or donating through the Arc Foundation of Warren County.
