Dress for Success Twin Cities empowers women and gender-expansive individuals across Minnesota to achieve economic independence through comprehensive career development, professional suiting, and ongoing workplace retention support. Founded in 2010 as an independent affiliate of the global network, the organization has served more than 14,000 individuals, helping clients build the confidence, skills, and professional networks needed to thrive in sustainable careers.
The organization's boutique styling service provides clients with personalized suiting consultations, offering professional interview attire, workplace wardrobe essentials, and footwear free of charge. Volunteer image consultants work one-on-one with participants to select apparel that helps them feel poised and prepared for employment interviews and new professional opportunities.
Beyond suiting, Dress for Success Twin Cities delivers structured workforce development programs including resume writing workshops, mock interviews, digital literacy coaching, and career counseling. Once employed, participants are invited to join the Professional Women's Group, a peer network offering monthly seminars on financial literacy, leadership development, workplace negotiation, and work-life balance to promote long-term career advancement.
