Dubois County Pride Festival

Dubois County Pride Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration on the Jasper Riverwalk. In 2026 organizers moved it from June to October after a community survey, citing cooler weather and LGBTQ+ History Month. It features live entertainment, food trucks, local vendors and community resources.

Dubois County Pride is a nonprofit whose mission is to affirm LGBTQIA+ people and their allies by building connections and support systems and creating spaces for self-expression and belonging. It hopes to make Dubois County a place where diversity is valued, and it pursues that through youth empowerment, community outreach and inclusive events.

The festival is designed for all ages, with food trucks, live music and entertainment, merchandise from local vendors and information from community organizations. The 2026 agenda began with a yoga class led by Andrea Schnaus before the official start, and it included inflatables from Jumpin' Jacks Entertainment and a PRIDE Rocks hunt, a seek-and-find game in which attendees look for special rocks they can keep.

Attendees should know that a professional photographer, organizers, vendors, media and other guests may take photos and video at the festival, and that entering the event counts as consent for Dubois County Pride to use those images for promotion and other nonprofit purposes.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
