Tulsa Pride

Tulsa Pride is produced by Oklahomans for Equality, which moved its festival and parade from June to October in 2024 to avoid summer heat and align with LGBT History Month. The 2026 festival is held at 6th and Frankfort because of road construction near the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center. The parade steps off at 4 p.m. from Boston Avenue United Methodist Church and passes the festival grounds.

Tulsa Pride is a program of Oklahomans for Equality. The 2026 parade, the 26th annual, stages at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church at 13th and Boston, travels north on Boston Avenue and east on 6th Street past the festival grounds, then turns north on Madison Avenue to disband. The church opens its restrooms and water fountains to participants.

Parade entries check in during the early afternoon and must be registered and paid by the deadline. Vehicles must meet state and city traffic rules, scooters and bicycles are not allowed, and alcohol is prohibited in the staging area and along the route under city open-container rules. Participants may hand items to the crowd but not throw them.

Bags are subject to inspection by the Tulsa Police Department and Tulsa Pride security, and weapons are not allowed at the festival or parade. Organizers warn that protesters are likely and ask everyone not to engage with them.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The next edition is October 17, 2026. It usually falls a Saturday in mid-October, around National Coming Out Day (moved from June starting in 2024).
