About Gulf Coast Pride

Gulf Coast Pride is the annual Pride day of the Gulf Coast Association of Pride, a nonprofit serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 2017. The free, family-friendly event features a keynote speaker, live bands, dance groups and drag showcases, and ends with the coronation of the year's Pride King and Queen. The 2026 event was held at the Barksdale Pavilion in Gulfport.

What to expect

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
