West Hartford Pride

West Hartford Pride is a month-long celebration that ends with a festival day on the grounds of West Hartford Town Hall. The festival features live performances, drag headliners, community vendors, and family activities.

West Hartford Pride, Inc. works to support and celebrate the well-being of the LGBTQAI+ community through resources, events, education and social justice initiatives. It envisions a Greater West Hartford where LGBTQAI+ people, their families and allies can reach their full potential and where allies support identities beyond their own. The organization receives funding from the Connecticut State Legislature, administered through the state's Office of the Arts.

Alongside the entertainment, the festival day offers storytelling and chances to connect with statewide resources. The 2026 lineup on the Circle Care Center Stage mixed local favorites with internationally known performers and was hosted by Natalia Fierce and DJ Edgewood. The event is planned by a committee and supported by local businesses, vendors, sponsors and volunteers.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

West Hartford Pride has included festival and rally.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 27, 2026. It usually falls late June.
