Atlantic County Pride in the Park

Pride in the Park is the Atlantic County Queer Alliance's annual Pride gathering at War Memorial Park in Mays Landing.

Pride in the Park is organized by the Atlantic County Queer Alliance (ACQA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to build community among LGBTQIA+ organizations and individuals across South Jersey. The group formed in 2023, but its roots go back to 2022, when volunteers planning a hometown Pride Month event realized how many local LGBTQIA+ groups existed and how little they knew about each other. That disconnect meant duplicated effort, stretched resources and people missing out on events and information.

ACQA's answer was to act as a connector. It partners with new and existing LGBTQIA+ groups, offering help with organizational management, event coordination and shared resources, and it aims to center marginalized voices and serve as a resource for anyone trying to understand the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community. Its stated mission is to advance understanding, acceptance and community for LGBTQIA+ people and their supporters in South Jersey.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Atlantic County Pride in the Park has included festival.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 20, 2026. It usually falls third Saturday in June.
