Concord Pride

Concord Pride is celebrated downtown during the June First Friday, with yoga, drag events, art activities, live music, and food trucks at local businesses. The Equality Health Center's Concord Pride 5K follows on Sunday.

Concord Pride folds into First Friday, the monthly evening in downtown Concord when stores stay open until 8 p.m. and the streets fill with art, music, food and family activities. In June, local businesses and organizations shape their First Friday offerings around Pride, and the lineup changes from year to year.

The 2026 evening gave a sense of the range. Three LGBTQ+ artists sold work on Capitol Street, and the State House lawn hosted free classes in mat Pilates and belly dance, while the Concord YMCA led a free Zumba session starting from State House Plaza. Concord Pediatrics sponsored free children's activities on City Plaza. The Eleventh Letter writing gallery teamed with the Women's Caucus for Art-NH on a word collage project, Go Native Gallery featured live painting, and Arts Alley hosted an outdoor live music set with lawn games.

Feathered Friend Brewing threw a Pride party with a special Pride beer, live music, a glitter bar, an information table from NAMI and an Artists and Allies art fair. Runners in the Equality Health Center's Concord Pride 5K could pick up their bibs at Marathon Sports during the evening, ahead of the race that Sunday.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Concord Pride has included street events and 5k.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 5-7, 2026. It usually falls first Friday of June and the following Sunday.
