LOH Pride

LOH Pride is the Lebanon Opera House's annual salute to the LGBTQIA+ community in the Upper Valley. A resource and artisan fair is held in Colburn Park, followed by a dance party.

Lebanon Opera House is an independent nonprofit arts center serving the Upper Valley, and it has held Pride events since 2022. For its fifth annual celebration, the resource and artisan fair in Colburn Park ran from 6 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a dance party inside the theater with guest DJs. Donations to Pride support the opera house's staff, its programming and the annual celebration.

Organizers describe the event as grounded in joy and ask participants to be empathetic and nonjudgmental and to respect personal space and boundaries. Businesses and organizations of all types can apply to table, and artists and crafters in any medium can apply to vend. Applications are reviewed against published guidelines, and spots are confirmed by email only after approval. Tablers bring their own tents up to 10 feet by 10 feet, and because the fair is outdoors, participants are advised to plan for sun and weather.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

LOH Pride has included resource fair and dance party.

LOH Pride was first held in 2022.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 12, 2026. It usually falls a Friday evening in mid June.
