Missoula Pride

Missoula Pride is a grassroots, community-driven Pride weekend hosted by the Western Montana LGBTQ+ Community Center. It is described as Montana's largest June Pride celebration.

Missoula Pride weekend fills the city with events from Friday through Sunday. In 2026 the official program opened with the Missoula Pride Fun Run, a Two-Spirit Powwow and talks on sexuality from community members, followed by an evening burlesque show and live music at Monk's, the ZACC and the Top Hat.

Saturday is the busiest day. The 2026 parade, the fifth annual, stepped off at noon from 3rd and Higgins, and the Pride Block Party followed at Main and Ryman with local makers, food trucks and a full day of performances. That lineup mixed local and touring talent, including DJ Suka, the Missoula band The Skurfs and drag performers Bob the Drag Queen, Aurora Nova and Thomas Foolery. Late-night afterparties took place at Monk's, the Top Hat and the American Legion.

Sunday brought a Drag Story Hour hosted by Eunice X at Fact and Fiction bookstore, a performance of Tiny Dances at the Florence Building and a closing party with the Missoula Pride team. Visitors who want to support queer-owned businesses during the weekend can use the Everywhere is Queer map, which lists some of the queer-owned shops and services around town.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 19, 2026. It usually falls third weekend of June.
