Phoenix Pride Festival and Parade

Phoenix Pride is the nonprofit behind Arizona's largest LGBTQ+ festival and parade. The 2026 festival and parade are held downtown at the Arizona Center, with the parade stepping off at 10 a.m. on 3rd Street at Portland Street. The organization also hosts a Community Unity 5K and gives grants and scholarships.

Phoenix Pride has organized marches, rallies, parades, entertainment, education and outreach in Phoenix for more than 40 years, and the 2026 festival marked its 45th anniversary. Its mission is to unite, educate and engage people in support of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, summed up in its S.E.E. campaign: Support, Engage and Empower. Since 2008 the organization has given out more than $1.5 million in grants and scholarships, including a Community Grants Program that funds nonprofits serving Maricopa County's LGBTQ+ community. Festival proceeds support these community programs.

The parade travels south on 3rd Street from Portland Street to Taylor Street and ends at the festival entrance at the Arizona Center. Festival admission comes in tiers. A free registration ticket covers the exhibitor marketplace, community stage and food court; general admission adds the main stage and beverage garden; VIP tickets, for ages 18 and up, add a balcony viewing area and air-conditioned indoor spaces with a performance stage and a dance party. A weekend pass also includes the Saturday Pre-Pride Coming Out Concert.

Guests may bring one unopened bottle of water and empty reusable bottles, but no other outside food or drink, and pets are not allowed except service animals. Phoenix Pride has committed to making its events welcoming to undocumented, immigrant and mixed-status families and says it will promptly alert attendees if it learns of immigration enforcement activity nearby.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
